Demi Uang atau Rencana Ilahi? Kisah Yudas Mengkhianati Yesus
Kisah Yudas Iskariot yang mengkhianati Yesus adalah salah satu peristiwa penting dalam perjalanan hidup Yesus. Yudas adalah salah satu dari dua belas murid yang selalu bersama Yesus dalam pelayanan-Nya. Namun, ia memilih untuk menyerahkan Gurunya kepada pemimpin-pemimpin agama Yahudi dengan imbalan 30 koin perak.
Pengkhianatan ini bukan hanya menyakitkan bagi Yesus, tetapi juga menjadi awal dari perjalanan penderitaan-Nya menuju salib. Kisah ini tercatat dalam tiga Injil Sinoptik: Matius 26:14-16, Markus 14:10-11, dan Lukas 22:3-6.
Kesepakatan Yudas dengan Imam-Imam Kepala
Suatu hari, Yudas Iskariot datang kepada para imam kepala dan bertanya, “Apa yang hendak kamu berikan kepadaku, supaya aku menyerahkan Dia kepada kamu?” (Matius 26:15).
Mereka pun menawarkan 30 koin perak kepadanya sebagai imbalan. Setelah menerima uang itu, Yudas mulai mencari kesempatan yang tepat untuk menyerahkan Yesus tanpa sepengetahuan orang banyak.
Dalam Injil Markus, diceritakan bahwa imam-imam kepala merasa senang dengan tawaran Yudas dan berjanji akan memberikan uang kepadanya. Sementara itu, Lukas memberikan tambahan informasi bahwa Iblis masuk ke dalam Yudas sebelum ia berunding dengan imam-imam kepala dan kepala pengawal Bait Allah.
Yudas: Murid yang Berkhianat
Yudas bukanlah orang asing bagi Yesus. Ia adalah salah satu dari dua belas murid pilihan-Nya. Sejak awal, Injil sudah menunjukkan bahwa Yudas akan menjadi pengkhianat (Matius 10:4, Markus 3:19).
Sebagai murid, Yudas seharusnya setia dan melayani bersama Yesus. Namun, tindakan yang dilakukannya justru berlawanan dengan tugasnya sebagai seorang rasul. Jika biasanya para murid datang kepada Yesus untuk melaksanakan tugas-Nya. kali ini Yudas datang kepada imam-imam kepala untuk menyerahkan Yesus kepada mereka.
Dalam ajaran-Nya, Yesus sering mengingatkan para murid agar berhati-hati terhadap keserakahan dan tidak diperbudak oleh uang (Lukas 12:15). Tetapi Yudas justru melakukan hal yang berlawanan. Demi 30 koin perak, ia mengkhianati Gurunya sendiri.
Makna Mendalam dari 30 Koin Perak
Hingga saat ini, tidak ada catatan pasti yang menunjukkan berapa nilai satu koin perak di zaman Yesus. Oleh karena itu, kita tidak bisa mengkonversi nilai 30 koin perak ke dalam mata uang modern. Namun, yang lebih penting dari nilai nominalnya adalah makna simbolis yang terkandung di dalamnya.
Dalam Keluaran 21:31-32, disebutkan bahwa 30 koin perak adalah harga yang harus dibayarkan jika seorang budak mati akibat diseruduk lembu:
| “Kalau yang diseruduknya seorang anak laki-laki atau perempuan, pemiliknya harus diperlakukan menurut peraturan yang sama. Tetapi, Jika lembu itu menyeruduk seorang budak laki-laki atau perempuan, pemiliknya harus membayar tiga puluh syikal perak kepada tuan budak itu, dan lembu itu harus dilempari dengan batu sampai mati” (Keluaran 21:32). |
Ayat ini menunjukkan bahwa harga yang diberikan untuk Yesus sama dengan harga seorang budak yang mati secara tidak layak. Hal ini memberikan gambaran bahwa Yesus Anak Allah, dinilai tidak lebih dari seorang budak dalam kesepakatan antara Yudas dan imam-imam kepala.
Selain itu, dalam Zakaria 11:12, 30 koin perak juga disebut sebagai upah bagi Zakaria yang menggembalakan kawanan domba:
| “Lalu aku berkata kepada mereka, “Jika kamu anggap baik,, berikanlah upahku, dan jika tidak, sudahlah!’ mereka menimbang tiga puluh keping perak sebagai upahku” (Zakaria 11:12). |
Ayat ini menegaskan bahwa 30 koin perak bukan hanya sekadar bayaran, tetapi juga simbol penghinaan. Dalam konteks Zakaria, jumlah ini mencerminkan bagaimana bangsa Israel meremehkan hamba Tuhan yang diutus untuk menjaga mereka. Sama seperti Zakaria, Yesus juga ditolak oleh umat-Nya sendiri dan diserahkan dengan harga yang rendah.
30 Koin Perak dan Penggenapan Nubuat
Dalam Matius 27:6-10, imam-imam kepala menolak memasukkan uang 30 koin perak ke dalam peti persembahan karena dianggap sebagai “uang darah”, yaitu uang hasil pengkhianatan yang menyebabkan kematian seseorang:
| “Imam-imam kepala mengambil uang perak itu dan berkata: ‘Tidak diperbolehkan memasukkan uang ini ke dalam peti persembahan, sebab ini uang darah.’ Sesudah berunding mereka membeli dengan uang itu tanah yang disebut Tanah Tukang Periuk untuk dijadikan tempat pekuburan orang asing. Itulah sebabnya tanah itu sampai pada hari ini disebut Tanah Darah” (Matius 27:6-8). |
Tindakan ini tidak hanya menunjukkan rasa bersalah mereka, tetapi juga menggenapi nubuat dalam Yeremia 32:6-9, di mana nabi Yeremia membeli sebidang tanah sebagai simbol pemulihan umat Israel. Dalam konteks pengkhianatan Yudas, pembelian Tanah Tukang Periuk dengan 30 koin perak menegaskan bahwa Yesus telah menjadi kurban yang menebus dosa manusia.
Kemudian, dalam Matius 27:9-10, Matius menghubungkan peristiwa ini dengan nubuat yang disampaikan oleh nabi Yeremia dan Zakaria:
| “Dengan demikian digenapi firman yang disampaikan melalui Nabi Yeremia, “Mereka menerima tiga puluh uang perak, yaitu harga yang ditetapkan untuk seorang menurut penilaian yang berlaku di antara orang Israel, dan mereka memberikan uang itu untuk tanah tukang periuk, seperti yang dipesankan Tuhan kepadaku” (Matius 27:9-10). |
Dengan demikian, 30 koin perak dalam kisah Yudas bukan sekadar alat transaksi, melainkan simbol pengkhianatan, penolakan terhadap Yesus, dan penggenapan nubuat yang telah ditetapkan dalam sejarah keselamatan manusia.
