Sementara itu, dalam Markus 1:21b–28, kita melihat Yesus yang mengajar dengan kuasa dan membebaskan seseorang yang dirasuki roh jahat. Kehadiran Yesus membawa perubahan nyata: pengajaran-Nya memberi pengharapan, dan kuasa-Nya membebaskan yang terbelenggu. Yesus adalah sumber berkat itu sendiri, dan dari-Nya mengalir pemulihan bagi banyak orang. Ia tidak menyimpan kuasa-Nya, melainkan menggunakannya untuk melayani, menyembuhkan, dan memulihkan martabat manusia. Orang-orang yang menyaksikan peristiwa itu takjub, karena mereka merasakan dampak nyata dari kehadiran Allah di tengah mereka.
Kedua bacaan ini menegaskan bahwa berkat Tuhan selalu membawa dampak sosial dan rohani. Hana yang diberkati melahirkan seorang pemimpin rohani bagi bangsa Israel, dan Yesus yang penuh kuasa menghadirkan pembebasan bagi mereka yang tertindas. Demikian juga dengan kita. Ketika kita diberkati, baik melalui kesehatan, kemampuan, kesempatan, maupun pengalaman iman, Tuhan menghendaki agar berkat itu tidak dinikmati diri sendiri saja melainkan dibagikan. Kita dipanggil menjadi berkat melalui tindakan kasih, perkataan yang membangun, pelayanan yang tulus, dan kesediaan untuk hadir bagi mereka yang membutuhkan.
Tujuan hidup orang percaya bukan hanya menerima berkat, tetapi menghidupi berkat itu bagi dunia. Dengan demikian, hidup kita menjadi kesaksian nyata bahwa Allah bekerja melalui orang-orang yang mau taat dan berbagi. Saat kita setia menjadi berkat setelah diberkati, nama Tuhan dimuliakan dan banyak orang mengalami kasih-Nya melalui hidup kita. Amin.
